The "N" is
for Nelson Series (N4N)
This series of nine caches is intended to commemorate the City
of Nelson, and was inspired by the "geowriting" by the Kootenay
Pirates in their 10 year anniversary series. This series fills a
void in town where nobody seemed to want to put a cache. It also
represents my predisposition to going overboard first time out, but
we'll get to that some other time.
In order to complete this series, you will have to find eight
caches hidden throughout the Rosemont area of town. Naturally, the
caches are aligned in a large letter "N" (about 2,000 feet high)
and in each of these caches is a clue to the location of the final
cache. Each clue is written on both the underside of the lid, and
on the inside cover of the log book. The final cache itself is
located beside a scenic, yet seldom seen feature in town. Once you
have collected all the clues, put them into the following
coordinates to gain the final location:
N 49° 2A.BCD
W 117° 1E.FGH
Each cache in the series is a standalone cache in itself so you
can do each cache on its own without doing the entire series.
Please be aware that the entire area is a high muggle zone so
stealth will be needed while looking for all of these caches.
