This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

Geocache Description:

No 7 - Hollybodd.

This cache is part of the Bodelwyddan circular walk caching as you go.
(Unlucky for some but not for you: with 13 caches)
Taking you along muddy Bridle paths, quiet lanes, across grassland and ditch.
Short walk along roads with footpath & cycle route.
Around the Glascoed nature reserve that boasts and supports a variety of wildlife:
(Roe deer, Lapwing and Emperor Dragonflies)
Passing 14 ponds that are helping to support the internationally rare: Great Crested Newt.
(Dont forget to grab the leaflet as you enter the nature reserve)

To do this walk in one fell swoop I would recommend parking up at Glascoed nature park waypoint.
Then as you enter the Glascoed nature Park you will come to No 1: Newtbodd (to the left)
No 2: Leccywaterbodd (to the right).
Carry on across the field, through the wooden gate to No 3: Birdybodd.
Follow the path, across a little wooden walkway till you reach a kissing gate, then turn left to No 4: Holey-Moleybodd.
Then follow the path to  No 5: Eeny-Meeny-Minybodd, then a little further to No 6: Archybodd and No 7: Hollybodd.
Follow the path round and as you come out the gate the Fishery will be on your left.
You take a right here and follow the lane to grab the brilliant: Bodelwyddan Village Vexation.
You are now on another lane, turn right to No 8: Tilsleybodd and No 9: Slippybodd.
(Then dont forget to grab the: Get out of Jail cache).
As you reach the end of this lane you will see a island in the road, cross straight over and look out for No 10: Manicbodd.
Then head for Fast & Leap parking waypoint.
Go past the gate until you enter another bridle path, turn left first to grab the A55 cache (if you haven't already done this) or turn right along the bridle path to No 11: leapbodd.
Carry on up the bridle path till you come to a junction again, go left to No12: Fellbodd first, then back track straight over to
No 13: Logbodd
.
The bridle path soon ends, so cross over the road and join the bridle path again.
Carry on till you hit the kissing gate on your left, go through and you will find yourself passing the Birdybodd and Leccywaterbodd cache and then the exit on your left to your car/Van/Harley/cycle/one wheel.

Dont want to do it all? then Ive made it easy for you:
Park up at bridle parking waypoint, grab Bodelwyddan Village Vexation - Hollybodd - Eeny-Meeny-Minybodd - Archybodd - Holey-Moleybodd - Birdybodd - Leccywaterbodd - Newtbodd - Then walk out the nature reserve.
Walk straight over the little island then turn left at the main road and head for Get out of Jail cache.
Turn left down the lane to Slippybodd - Tilsleybodd then your car.

The rest can be grabbed by parking at the fast & leap parking waypoint.
Happy caching.
