This is the No 1 in a series of 7 caches in a 4 mile circular walk taking in Twmbarlwm mountain Risca.
Liam, my grandson, Meg the dog and myself walk this route on a regular basis and although steep in parts is worth it for the views from Twmbarlwm
This lane is known locally as Piggy Lane as there used to be a pig farm owned by a local business man.
The road is narrow but steep. Traffic is usually light but as it's single track take care.
