This is the No 2 in a series of 7 caches in a 4 mile circular walk taking in Twmbarlwm mountain Risca.
Liam, my grandson, Meg the dog and myself walk this route on a regular basis and although steep in parts is worth it for the views from Twmbarlwm
I don't know if many people still call this The Dingle anymore. We used to come up here for picnics when I was very young.
If walking from LIAM & MEG CIRCULAR #1 – PIGGY LANE the road peters out into a rough track but can be walked easily.
Does get quite steep but then levels out, with views over Pant Yr Eos reservoir.
Alternatively you could drive to the cache but that defeats the whole object of the walk. :)
