Geocache Description:


This cache is located at Springs Park. On the opposite side of the field from this cache is the Silurian Spring (also an Earth Cache if you are interested). I often take children to this spring house so that they can shout their names through the slots on the door to hear the echo. It has been dubbed "The Echo House". This park has a playground, bathrooms, picnic tables and a large grassy area. This is a great cache for kids! Stealth may be required at times as several nearby schools and daycares use the playground, as does the YMCA and Parks and Rec. This cache is winter-friendly.

Update: This cache needed to be disabled and moved. So now it is a whole new container in a new location. Now you are looking for a small, camoed container. Not sure exactly if this is a small "small" container or a large "micro". It contains a log and a pencil but since these have a tendency to walk off you may want to bring your own. It also could hold some very small items for trade. I am sure that you will figure out that the coordinates will lead to a tree but there is no need to climb the tree. In fact, the Waukesha Parks and Rec department don't want geocachers to have to climb trees, dig or otherwise disturb the environment. I have submitted the cache information to the WPRF on 10/6/10. Please note that you can not park on Hartwell Ave. You will need to park on Linden or Beechwood or across the field in the YMCA parking lot.
