Geocache Description:

This is the No 3 in a series of 7 caches in a 4 mile circular walk taking in Twmbarlwm mountain Risca.
Liam, my grandson, Meg the dog and myself walk this route on a regular basis and although steep in parts is worth it for the views from Twmbarlwm

The 'world famous' Tump, well at least around these parts.

When you reach the summit of Twmbarlwm, also affectionately known as the Pimple, you will experience some of the best views in south Wales.

On a clear day you can see as far as Somerset, Devon and the Brecon Beacons. On a bad day you won't see your feet!

The walk to the top can be strenuous but it's definitely worth it.

If you are going to LIAM & MEG CIRCULAR #4 - DARRAN ROAD next, then follow the tree line to your right to pick up the footpath. It's easier than going through the trees.
