This is the No 4 in a series of 7 caches in a 4 mile circular walk taking in Twmbarlwm mountain Risca.
Liam, my grandson, Meg the dog and myself walk this route on a regular basis and although steep in parts is worth it for the views from Twmbarlwm
The hiding place for the cache is on the side of the road so shouldn't be too difficult to find.
The road is tarmac but single track. Not suitable to drive to as there aren't any easy parking places. Very little traffic but sometimes used by mountain bikers so take care.
If you are going to LIAM & MEG CIRCULAR #3 - THE TUMP next, then follow the lane ahead to pick up the footpath. It's easier than going through the trees.
PLEASE NOTE THAT LIAM & MEG CIRCULAR #5 - DEGIS' FARM HAS BEEN ARCHIVED DUE TO NO ACCESS BECAUSE OF TREE FELLING. THE CACHE SITE IS NOW OVERGROWN AND PRETTY MUCH INACCESSIBLE.
