Welcome to the first Mad Cache Dash!
*********PLEASE LET US KNOW 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE RACE!!!!!!!! If you are a last minute person, sorry, but you cannot race unless a team is in need of an extra person. You may, however, come to the event.*********
Obviously this is a competition for geocachers, and this one is a timed race. Please get into teams of up to 4, not 4 profile names, but 4 human people. You will be released every ten minutes, and we will let you pick your time. There will be a maximum of 10 stages for the race, so be ready to be caching for at least a half an hour. Good luck to everyone and HAVE FUN!!!
We do not plan to have a food buffet, but feel free to bring your own sack lunches if you plan to stay the whole time.
Make sure you bring a jacket, or coat, depending on how the weather is, as we will try to fight through most of Mother Nature's obstacles. (Unless, of course it is ridiculous)
You WILL need:
-GPS
-Tennis shoes/walking shoes
-Jacket(s)
-Water
-Warm hat
We will have rules at the sight, but the main one is that you may not drive, bike, 4-Wheel, snowboard, or any other transportation method that isn't walking or running.
Now to pick your time. First come, first serve. Please email me, brennan7, if you need a time change, and I will be happy to switch it for you.
