Geocache Description:


The railway track of Meitetsu Mikawa line (sea line) to Kirayoshida station was abolished. Hekinan station became a terminal in 2004. There was Tanao station in the eastern part of Hekinan station. Tanao station was at the entrance to Bisyamon-san (Myofukuji Temple). There is Myofukuji Temple in the eastern part of Hekinan City. Myofukuji Temple is famous as “Bishamonten of Tanao”. One of three Bishamontens in Japan is enshrined in the temple. People living near here visit the shrine on the 3rd day of each month for the regular monthly festival. There are not signboards with station name. Please do not enter off-limits place.
