Within the Sharon Burying Ground - Circa 1813.
Final resting place of many members of the Children of Peace - Builders of Sharon Temple and most notably David Willson their founder. Also several well known local names (Lundy and Doan).
The title of the cache refers to the stone near GZ. While all stones at this end face N-S poor Joel Hill who passed away in 1843 for some reason faces E-W, was he a rebel, an outcast or just wanted to be different.
Bring your own writing implement.
Try to read the stone near the gate that has an American flag planted next to it? (Let me know if you can read anything).
Thanks to oppie3292 for the following.
James Lundy - He was Civil War member of the 70th New York Volunteers and died on Sept. 10, 1864 at David's Island Hospital in New York harbour of typhoid fever contracted at Vicksburg, VA.
