This cache is to thank them for such
generosity. I don't know them personally but they seem to be
genuinely good people and to show my appreciation I named this
cache after them. =)
Jacks Peak Park has much to offer the outdoor
enthusiast. Almost 8.5 miles of horseback riding and hiking trails
wind through cathedral-like forests and to breathtaking ridge top
vistas. The Skyline Self-Guided Nature Trail traverses the summit
of Jacks Peak and features fossils from the Miocene epoch.
Brochures describing features along the trail are available at the
entrance station. Visitors can also enjoy other passive activities
including nature study, photography or picnics.
Park hours vary with the season but generally
open 11am-5pm.
Day Use vehicle entry (maximum 8 people per
car) Monday – Friday $4/day Saturday, Sunday and Holidays
$5/day
This cache is hidden right off a trail in
Jacks Peak County Park. This park has beautiful trails but loads of
Poison Oak (PO) so please be careful! When we placed the cache
there was no PO around, but we all know that can change. You don't
need to leave the trail to reach the cache.
Please bring a writing stick.
