The Master-Multi Series
A multi-cache series that varies HUGELY. From my waterfoot 5star
one to a little simple one in Newton Mearns. A series that, in some
caches, can be worked out through google maps......I can't decide
whether this is cheating or not?
Other cache in the series so far include:
- Master-Multi 1: Bus Stop Business (Waterfoot) GC2FREJ
- Master-Multi 3: Street Sign Business GC2GC3R
______________________________________________ How to get the
co-ordinates for:
______________________________________________
Road Sign 1: Work out: (North”XX”deg AB.033
West004deg 20.625)
1. Half of 10 = “X”
2. 2 squared = “A”
3. 2 squared plus 2 = “B”
Road Sign 2: Which of these co-ords are most
suitable?
1. N 54° 31.558 E 015° 15.307
2. N 59° 07.852 W 002° 59.297
3. N 55° 46.032 W 004° 20.662
4. N 56° 13.135 W 004° 47.402
Road Sign 3: Add or subtract the following from the first
set you worked out:
1. For latitude minutes, subtract 0.008 from the Road Sign 1
latitude minutes.
2. For longitude minutes, add 0.089 to the Road Sign 1 longitude
minutes.
Traffic Lights (Road Sign 4): Near and around N 55°
46.040 W 004° 20.623 Road Sign 5: Which of these co-ords are most
suitable? (this one is trickier!)
1. N 55° 45.909 W 004° 20.520
2. N 55° 46.067 W 004° 20.529
3. N 55° 45.558 W 004° 21.542
4. N 55° 45.373 W 004° 22.084
Road Sign 6: Work out: (N 55° 46.0GH W 004° 20.F1H)
1. 10 subtract 3 = “G”
2. The year London holds the Olympics subtracted from the year
Glasgow holds the commonwealth games = “H”
3. Half of 20, then half of that answer gives “F”

Now the instructions: What to do at the signs:
Road Sign 1: This sign is attached to a lamp post and has
three words on it (white letters on red background). Find the
number of letters in each word then bring them to a total of
“AB”.
Road Sign 2: This sign is also attached to a lamp post
and is for cyclists. It reads:
- Fenwick “XX” miles
- Kilmarnock “XX” miles
Then subtract them to give “C”.
Road Sign 3: This is a sign indicating what roundabout it
is and which way to turn. The name of the roundabout is
“SOMETHING” ROUNDABOUT. Add the letters in the name
(excluding “Roundabout”) and this gives
“DE”.
Road Sign 4: This is not a sign. Count, on the traffic
lights, how many green men you see (they do not have to be on).
Make this “F”.
Road Sign 5: This is a street name sign. It reads: ST.
VIGEANS PLACE and “XXX” to “XXX” AYR ROAD.
Subtract these two numbers to give “G”.
Road Sign 6: This isn’t really a sign to be honest.
At the co-ords, look for a maximum speed sign (40 here), then look
up the lamp post a bit until you see P “XXX” (black
letters on a yellow background). Take the three digit number
(“XXX”) and make it “HKW”.
___________________________________________________ THE FINAL
STAGE: Now you will need these sums to give the final
co-ords:
1. A = A
2. B = B
3. C = C
4. Z = D + 5
5. E = E
6. X = F – F
7. T = G + 1
8. Y = HKW – 191
The Final Co-ordinates Are:
North XCC° BZ.AEZ West XXB° EX.YTX

A few notes:
Extreme stealth required – especially at the final cache
location.
You will need a pen – this is a micro cache.
And GOOD LUCK!!!!
