Nice hike up to an old quarry, then rather difficult terrain.
The road up toward the cache is only open during summer. The hike from the parking waypoint is 1.2km, but during winter one has to park 5km down the mountain or arrive from St. Cergue. The path towards the cache leads to an old quarry. Do not access the quarry itself, this could be dangerous! The cache is up the hill at the edge of a cliff. Please observe all necessary caution! The terrain is rather difficult and not suitable for younger children or small dogs. Good shoes are advisable. / There is a mountain restaurant “La Barillette”, serving good Fondue and other simple Swiss food during summer. It is 700m from the quarry, but this would require climbing the cliff...
