Halfpenny Story is a cache for both stories and art. You can leave a story, a poem or even a couplet for the entertainment of others, or a piece of art. We'd like you to leave the stories for others to read, but you can take and leave art from the cache. The senior member of our team (Beryl) loves stories and the youngest (Lydia) loves art.
Halfpenny Houses is just outside the gates of Clifton Castle, look for a red phone box and you're near. This is a drive by cache but please do try to leave at least a couplet for us to read!
Sadly in November 2011, Beryl died - she lived in the house nearby. We've only just plucked up the courage to look at the listing again - really pleased that the cache is still going strong and is appreciated, and thanks to the people who now live in the cottage for letting us keep the cache going.
Please don't search for this one after about 10pm.
