A Small container lurkin where turkey's perch.
This is a Public road, maintained by the County.
A "TURDUCKIN" dinner is not one to be thought of lightly. It took us (very experienced cooks, some professional's) days to prepare.
THREE seperate stuffings need to be made.
Cornbread, Adouille Sausage and Oyster.
Seperate Eggplant gravy ..has over 3 hours of prep time to make. The first time we made Turduckin, nobody really READ all the way through the "Gravy" recipe...and the roasted vegtables take at least 2 1/2 hours.
My muggle spouse flew down to Louisiana many years ago and was able to Meet Chef Paul Prudomme.
We also had the use of a Restruant that was closed over thanksgiving to cook and use. It would be VERY difficult to do at home.
Use your church kitchen. Get a group together.
I never even KNEW a turkey/duck/chicken could BE deboned. It is a very "floppy" affair.
There are several sites that have step by step pictures of how to make a turduckin.
