Park at the trail access point and remember to leave room for the ATVs to pass.
THE CACHE
Close to GZ you will have to descend down a short but steep slope to get the cache. Watch your footing as there is lots of gravel at this location. Alternately, you could walk along the shoulder of the road and then do a short bushwack to the cache. That might be a 1.5 terrain.
THE STORY
Being the senior of 6 children, I am placing this cache in HONOUR of my youngest sibling, little sister Joanne, who has the distinction of reaching her 50TH BIRTHDAY this month...October 2010. She is not a geocacher, but is a pretty good sports coach for high school teams in the London area...and they win lots of games...so she tells me! One of our siblings nic named her Little Blister after she burnt her hands...perhaps while cooking, heh heh. She has a history of oopsies connected to her cooking. Never ask her about her French Guy pie. In your ON-LINE LOGS, feel free to wish Little Blister a Happy 50th Birthday for the next 12 months, as she will be 50 until October 2011.
ATTRACTION: child friendly...close to parking...across the concession from another fun cache
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN...the pencils have been known to grow legs and escape!
PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF WHERE YOU ARE RETRIEVING THE CACHE CONTAINER FROM, AND RETURN IT TO THE EXACT LOCATION TO PREVENT MIGRATION...IN THIS CASE, PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE CONTAINER FROM THE WIRE BASKET...JUST REMOVE THE LID. ENSURE THE CACHE IS STANDING UP AND REMAINS WEDGED IN BEHIND THE TINY TRUNK. Happy Hunting!
NOTE: This is Bruce County. Don't be surprised to find POISON IVY, seasonally, in abundance along this section of the trail. When I placed the cache, it was not present in that area. Please wear long pants and closed toe shoes and bring wet wipes just in case you need them.
