Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Southern New England Trunkline Trail. On the way to this
cache you will see the Eagle Project performed by one of the boy
scouts from Troop 126 in Franklin. Be sure to check out the
information kiosk and benches at the head of the trail on Grove
Street. This project required over 200 hours of service by the
volunteers organized by the boy scouts.

If you have questions about this eagle project please contact
Troop 126, our web address is troop126franklin.org.

This cache is part of a nationwide Geo-caching series called "Cache
to Eagle" that showcases local Eagle projects. Through the program,
dozens of public caches that showcase these remarkable sites are
already posted, and the initial response has been fantastic.
Hundreds of people visit the Eagle Scout projects, and many of them
write public notes on the logs.

Over its first 100 years, Scouting has provided millions of
hours of service to communities across America. “Cache to
Eagle” is a partnership between Geoscouting, the BSA, and
Geocaching.com to highlight these special contributions.
