Geocache Description:

Making Peshtera centre of tourism is among the priorities in the Regional Development Plan. One of the most attractive localities in the town is Neptune Complex consisting of a restaurant and two open air swimming pools ( one of them designed for children ). St.Constantine Resort lies 18km to the west of Peshtera, at 1,350m above sea level. There are facilities for winter sports including towing lifts and ski-runs. there are four establishment offering accommodation: Daftrans Hotel, a three-star hotel, Vili Hotel and Mary Yovcheva Hotel, both one star hotels, and Roumen Hut (comprised of chalets and a tea - house), owned by Peshtera Tourist Company. there are a large number of private holiday homes in the resort. Peshtera Tourist Company provides guides for organized trips to natural sights on the territory of the municipality. The municipality is a traditional organizer of mountain motor races. The Peshtera Mountain Motor Rase is conducted as part of the national championship. Hebros Motor Rase starting and finishing in Plovdiv, crosses Peshtera. Some interesting tourist routes have been made: Tsepina Hut - St.Constantine Resort; Peshtera - St.Constantine Resort - Batak Lake - Batak; Snezhanka Cave - Vasil Petleshkov Resort; St.Constantine Resort - Snezhanka Hut - Peshtera Water Power Plant - Snezhanka Cave; St.Constantine Resort -Batashki Eledzhik; St.Constantine Resort - Kostina Mogila.
