Geocache Description:

Located behind the Ruins of Ujarrás, the terrain is easy but the cache is hidden very well because the area is frequented by muggles. The Ruins carry significant cultural and religious history, and the grounds are beautiful and clean - a great place for a family visit or picnic.

The village of Ujarrás was spared mysteriously from pillaging by the Pirate Henry Morgan in 1666. This protection is attributed to the Our Lady of Rescue, a carving of the Virgin Mary which protected the village and is credited with other miraculous wonders as well. The Virgin carving refused to move from the spot where she was found by a Huetar fisherman, so the Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción de Ujarrás was built in her honor between 1686 and 1693.

She agreed to be moved following a fever epidemic (flooding?) in 1833, as long as she could return to the sacred spot each year. The entire village moved up to Paraíso on safer ground, and brought with them the Virgin image to reside in the Catholic church of Paraíso, Every April 12th people pilgrimage down to Ujurrás to commemorate the Virgin's protection.

According a legend originating in this very paragraph, one of the notorious Pirate Morgan's scout pirates stole 15 blue sacred stones from the huetar chief and buried them so his cronies could steal them when they arrived. However, his pirate buddies never made it to the protected village, and so the 15 sacred blue stones have been hidden to this day, with hopes of being scattered to all corners of the world to distribute their blessing powers to every place they travel. That is the origin of the cache you are seeking.

It's well hidden. This place is frequented by muggles. A camo container the size of your hand.
