The Simpson Gardens are an 11 acre garden being built on top of what use to be basically a waste area. The soil is poor and therefore all these wonderful plants and beds have had to have soil brought in. The funding for these gardens has been privately raised by a variety of fund raisers and donations. Nearly a million dollars has been raised so that Bowling Green can have this very unique place. The garden park closes at dark. The parking will be obvious once you get close to the posted coords. Before you hunt the caches, take time to back track a little and look at the Children's Garden and the Sensory Garden. Both are just outside the building. ` At the far end of the daylily gardens you will find a cedar gazebo. The container is around this building, so don't go rooting thru all the plants in the area. We want you to enjoy our new gardens and find a few caches, but we don't want people damaging plants. None of the three caches in these gardens require you to disturb any foliage. This is a high muggle area in season so be stealthy.
