Geocache Description:

The is a two option, multi-cache, you can get to the final location by either taking a boat or by hiking.

If you've ever watched the TV show "The Amazing Race" then you will be familiar with the detour. The beginning point for this 3 stage (start, middle, final) multi-cache is the cartop boat launch. If you are going to go by boat you may want to get the life vest and oars for a canoe or kayak at the Breakwater Store before you head over to the beginning. If you are hiking then you can be on your way but like "The Amazing Race" it may be quicker to go one way than the other, you will have to decide. If you choose the boat option make sure it is high tide or you may not be able to get to the second leg of the cache.
This cache has been placed with the permission of Leesylvania State Park rangers and is a cooperation to improve geocaching in the park.
Please observe the park hours of dawn to dusk or as posted at the entrance.
