Geocache Description:

This cache will lead you literally to the home of one of the most well known pioneers in the history of Las Vegas.
If needed, feel free to replace a full log with an appropriate size piece of paper- Thanks

Lester "Benny" Binion moved to Las Vegas from Texas in 1946. He bought this ranch 'way out west' in 1947, Partnered in a few casinos, and then, in 1951, he opened his namesake historic casino- The world famous Binions Horseshoe on Fremont St.

Benny lived in this house until his death on Christmas Day 1989. Many people know the story of the Horseshoe as the birthplace of the World Series of Poker, but might not know about some of these spots away from the neon, so I placed this cache to guide you take a look into Las Vegas history you might never see otherwise.

Should be a quick grab, but also take the time to look around and grab some photos. Cache is log only, Bring your own pen and replace just as found.

I would recommend a daytime search, otherwise you wouldnt see much of the site. You should be able to park right next to GZ.
