After we logged our find for 10-10-10 for 10 years of geocaching, we wondered not only how many caches were found today, but how many caches were placed today?
If everyone who found a cache today also placed a cache today wouldn't that be nice! You have to give if you are going to take, remember....
Today, 10-10-10, we found a cache and we also placed a cache -- did you??
There is no need to go thru the gate, the cache is NOT inside the yard.
I sat down with a cup of tea
The GPS to work for me
To find the numbers that you need
To come, to search, to fill a need.
This little spot where gnomes do roam -
There are a few who call it home
They like to play their tricks on me
And move my things - as you shall see.
The pruning shears and yes the hoe
I never know just where to go
To do a job that must be done
But, to them, it's all in fun.
The cache was placed, I told them "NO"
But by starlight it'll move, you know.
And I don't think they're mean you see
Just 'cause they move things around on me.
So come and look and you will find --
But one thing you must keep in mind
Don't phone Pawz, DIOS or Mom
Because these gnomes, they have their fun
This cache may move from place to place
But really folks look at the space
Look around and please be kind,
I'm sure you will log your find.
One thing more I tell you true
Be it a rainy day or blue
This cache will NOT be in the tree
'Cause gnomes hide in and under it, you see.
So go ahead and look around
From the tip of your nose right to the ground
It might be big, it might be small
But a find is there for one and all.
