A traditional cache hidden in a usual caching manner. A small 400mm screw top container.
Torgannah Lagoon is located in Koonoomoo, Victoria. It is a very scenic location with the lagoon presenting a very nice spot to fish. I have never seen the lagoon without water, even during the worst of the drought.
Nearby Koonoomoo "central", on the Goulburn Valley Highway has the tourist attraction "The Big Strawberry". If you are looking to stop for lunch or a snack, this is the spot. They have very nice food.
The Koonoomoo area is synonymous with fruit growing and wine production.
Be a little careful with this cache. It is on the edge of the lagoon and the slope after the cache is quite steep. Also, as usual, snakes in this part of the world can be very active.
Enjoy this scenic spot.
