Ten Point lives here Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache placed because I saw Mr. Ten Point on 10/10/10 so I know he is still alive and well.
DO NOT TRY AND ACCESS FROM THE INTERSTATE - VERY UNSAFE TRAIN TRACKS!you will have to cross CSX/NS mainline on a curve if you attempt the interstate side.
This cache can be reached by three different safe routes, the most scenic being the trail along the gas line.

Don't get stumped by this one, just enjoy the views and the short hike to the cache! small non traditional holder for this cache, but if you look you will find...and if VERY lucky and quiet, you may see the ten point buck who lives here...
You can enjoy a nice view of the train as it rounds the bend, if you watch from near this cache.
The road you will need to access for parking is NOT on the maps yet, so you get a freebie: use exit 9.
You can park nearby and hike in. I have given this a 2.5, because although the walk is mostly open field and fairly clear of brush, the last bit is a hill. And you will walk about 0.5 miles
The terrain is not bad, if you choose one road over the other, but the road not taken may be the one Mr. Ten Point lives on.
The more scenic route will require you to potentially cross old fence lines, but do not worry - the army no longer owns the land, and in many places just abandoned the fences. The cache is located along TDOT and County Property boundary, but if you access from TDOT side, you are sure to be observed ...
Bring a camera, as you are sure to see some wildlife!
