This is one of a special kind of cache called a puzzle cache, or unknown cache. Puzzle caches are typically not hidden at their posted coordinates, but require you to perform some other task, either at home or on the trail, to deduce the final location of the cache. This one should be solved while on the trail, and so it takes no special advance preparation.
To find the location of the final, you'll need to visit other stops along the Icon Trail and collect clues for the following
keywords: GOLD, PANNING, PROSPECTOR, and YUKON. Next, calculate the following offset values:
A = (YUKON + PROSPECTOR - GOLD) * PANNING * 2
B = (GOLD + YUKON) * (PANNING + PROSPECTOR)
Finally, add A to the decimal portion of the latitude of the posted coordinates and add B to the decimal portion of the longitude of the posted coordinates. Go to the resulting location and there you'll strike it rich - well, maybe.
Please remember that hunters will be out and about in season. Plan the timing of your trip appropriately, and be sure to wear your blaze orange in season!
