Geocache Description:

A drive by cache off SH 83 3.5km north of Kurow.

High in the hills to the west is the local Awakino ski field. The Awakino River flows down to the Waitaki River. The cache is a 200 ml sistema container at a roadside picnic area adjacient to the Awakino River.
