Another one of my dog, Mosh's, playgrounds.
This cache is situated in the dunes of Papamoa Beach and can be reached by parking in the nearby reserve area and taking a short walk towards the sea. Motiti Island, situated about 9 km from the beach is a relatively flat inhabited island of about 10 square km. Good fishing can be had from the beach, mainly by kayakers and long line fishers or you could try your luck with rod and reel!
Keep to the formed sand track by the rubbish bin and follow your nose (well that's what Mosh does) or maybe your GPS. You will have to leave the track near the cache but it's not hard work if you choose the right spot to walk.
The cache is a Sistema flat container with room for some trades and bugs/coins. Please bring your own pen to sign the log. Please rehide well as this has been muggled in the past
