Mind.in.a.box - Dreamweb Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

teammelbert: Checked up on this tonight and can indeed confirm it's gone. I have had thoughts on redoing this series with a different twist but I'll let this location go as I don't live near there anymore. Thanks for all that made the find.

Geocache Description:

The cache is meant to be easy to find and is probably best to find later in the day as it is in a high muggle area. There are plenty of streetlights in the area so there shouldn't any problems finding this in the cover of darkness for those caching in the evening. The cache is a magnetic key holder. You'll need to bring your own pen or pencil.

Every so often a band comes along that for whatever reason you have an instant affinity with. With their first release in 2004, Mind.in.a.box was that band for me. Since they can be best described as Electro/Industial this isn’t a band for everybody (the only cross genre comparison that I can come up with would be Pink Floyd meets Kraftwerk), but few bands pay as much attention to detail as this one.

With their second album Dreamweb, Mind.in.a.box really gets the story line of their trilogy going. It introduces the troubled character Black. He is searching for a woman and his communications to his partner White are sampled throughout the album (including the first track which is a fantastic example of the long lost art of the "intro song"). He follows clues that lead him to a club but passes out as he enters.

Mind.in.a.box’s first 3 albums loosely follow a story line and I will be doing a cache for each album plus a final. Each cache will have a clue that refers to a track on the album. Remember this track (and the track # it refers to) because it will be used to find the coordinates of the final. No official FTF prize but I left a product of a crafting hobby I have.

Stay tuned for the next part of the series Mind.in.a.box - Crossroads

Grats to PhilatSea for the FTF...I think I have name for my shadow now.
