I guess I've known "J" of JAKKTeam for a while now, and I've met "A" several times, but I haven't yet met the rest of the team. I was lucky enough to be there with "J" when he found his 2499th and 2500th caches.
Besides geocaching, "J" and I share a few passions, one of which is hockey (for those of you who don't know, "J" plays at the nearby hockey arena). I first got to talking to "J" about hockey as we were lugging a stepladder and a broken hockey stick through the woods many, many miles south of here. The strange things we will do to find those crazy caches.
This cache is a special golden ammo can, made by c-fire, and it is well deserved on the occasion of JAKKTeam's 2500 finds. This replaces the original screwtop container that was placed nearby. The area is private property - please be respectful, do not explore beyond the cache. There's a nice big lammy for first to find, and this time JAKKTeam was NOT previously notified of the coordinates (although they are aware that I am up to something!!!). There's also a special lammy for JAKKTeam.
DAYLIGHT CACHING ONLY. Please feel free to Cache-In-Trash-Out too, the property owner would appreciate that.
The following is a short and incomplete list of things you DO NOT need to do to get this cache: stand around in the rain, carry a ladder into the woods, carry a broken hockey stick into the woods, perform a projection, climb a tree, fall out of a tree, climb a wall, climb a cliff, climb a stepladder wedged between two tree trunks, climb anything really, bleed, cry, call the cache owner multiple times, swear, sweat, use muscles you haven't used in years, solve insane puzzles, solve normal puzzles, search for hours for puzzles you can't even find, pick/break/cut a lock (or even open a lock), fish decoys from the canal, do anything with decoys, or scare yourself nearly to death.
As I said before, this cache commemorates JAKKTeam's 2500 finds, so please fill the log book with stories about JAKKTeam! Make 'em up, if you have to!
