Ahhhh, the Brampton Valley Way. Mecca to walkers, cyclists and from a healthy number of caches along its route, Geocachers.
But how much do you actually know about this regular haunt for people in the above named categories?
In order to find out, answer these questions, get the answers you need and get out to a cache which is positioned pretty much along the BVW, but how close to it, I'm not saying!:
A equals the length of the BVW, in miles (to the nearest whole mile) minus 5.
B equals the number of miles of the route that are open to motorised traffic.
C equals the Sustrans (SUStainable TRANSportation) route number which covers the BVW (and beyond!). [Sustrans promotes, builds and maintains walking and cycling paths across the UK in the hope to lead people to a more active, less car dependant, future].
D equals how many tunnels are on the route x2.
E equals the part of the gauge measurement of the railway track on the Northampton & Lamport Railway, a preserved railway that runs parallel to the BVW towards the southern end. The gauge is 4ft and how many inches, rounded up to the nearest inch? That is E.
F equals the amount of the path that's in Leicestershire, in miles.

Not tricky at all, a quick Google search will get you up and running on this. If you are riding/walking down from the north to this cache, there are tunnels to navigate so bring a torch/bike light.
