Geocache Description:

pprass welcomes all to our 2011 Geocaching New Year’s party to be held at Cape Paterson on Monday 3 January 2011, 11.00am.



Come along and join us for some fun and socialising as only geocachers can. We would especially love to see all of our old friends as we have missed out on quite a few events in Victoria since moving up to Port Macquarie. We have also missed out meeting the new cachers that have joined the game over the last 12 months so whether you are new or old to the game – please come along!New geocachers are most welcome to attend as it's a great way to meet the local geocaching community and pick up some tips on finding and hiding caches.

Where the event will be held.

The event will be held at Birt Park which is near the Kywong camping ground at Cape Paterson. It will begin at 11 am and carry on till around 3.00pm.We have been camping at the Orana camping ground (just 200 metres away) every Christmas for many years so there may even be some of the “locals” joining us to see what we get up to.There are a few geocaches in the area and heaps on Phillip Island which is just 35 kms away.

Facilities.

Electric BBQ facilities are available, but feel free to bring along your own everything, or you can buy your lunch from a nearby Take Away shop.

Entertainment.

If we can think of any innovative GPSr related games we will have something to entertain you with, otherwise it will be just a good chance to catch up with other cachers.Don't forget – if you must, you can also swap geocoins and travel bugs at the event.
We may even have our personal Pathtags to swap by then!
