This cache shows an archaeological excavation and an ancient
bridge that was restored and is still in use. The bridge is part of
the hiking trail „SENTIER DE L’UCCELLINE“ and it
marks the lowest point of the yearly trail running event
„Machja
de Costa Verde“.
The creek at the bridge is an ideal place for children to play with
and in the water. It is also a fine location for picnic. Children
will like this short hike and it will be hard to get them back to
the car. The excavation at ST1 is already a bit overgrown. Thus,
you can find a lot of herbals there.

Cross the bridge and follow the path to find the cache. The
cache is located at the path behind some stones inside a bigger
rock. The path is somehow split in a upper and a lower part. The
cache rock is located at the upper level path. No need to climb or
to leave the path. Please hide the box after logging with some
stones. Better fetch some additional stones from the area around
than showing the box to the muggels.
