This TeamCThree Kid-Friendly Series is of the type that our kids (ages 6 - 10) enjoy finding - no micros, 2-star or less difficulty and terrain with relatively short hikes. Small and Regular containers with plenty of decent trinkets and room for TB's.
Our first cache hide - a family-friendly easy grab with nearby parking.
Countryside Park is close to our house and we've taken wonderful pictures of the kids here every fall. The trees behind the pond provide a gorgeous backdrop, and the kids enjoy walking over the covered bridge. There used to be a decent hiking trail but it was cleared out several years ago when the Buckingham development went in.
It's a short walk (~ 500 feet) to the camoed Lock and Lock, no bushwhacking required. The park is open year round from dawn to dusk.
Starting it off with plenty of kid-friendly swag and two TB's.
