Geocache Description:

Image courtesy of Natural Resources Canada, Canadian Forest Service

A drive-up cache with a view.

Amabilis Mountain is probably named after Abies amabilis, commonly called Pacific silver fir. The name derives from the Latin adjective:

amābilis m. and f. (amābile n.); third declension

  1. lovable, worthy of love.

I hope you enjoy this spot, and the drive up, as much as I did.
