Placed on the Turtle Trail between Bargara and Mon Repos. The trail is a popular walking and bike-riding track that winds through some natural bushland, open pasture and mangrove wetland areas.
Interpretive signs explain some of the different ecosystems along the trail.
This cache is about 50m off the trail. There used to be a side track to the interpretive sign but maintenance of the track has been abandoned so you now have to walk through overgrown but low grass and weeds to get to the sign, and toward the marked coordinates. There is no bushbashing involved, but there is some rock-hopping near GZ.
