Geocache Description:

10 November 2010, 00:00 - 00:30

The evening will be hosted by Rod and Chris of “Thekennelat79”, who will be in attendance from about 6.30 pm.

Even though she has had the dubious pleasure of meeting us before, Jane the landlady has assured me that she will warmly welcome us back.
Since Wednesday is a fairly quiet night in Emsworth, we will probably have almost the whole pub to ourselves!
As well as a large lounge with plenty of tables, there is also a courtyard garden area available, (if the weather is a bit warmer!).

Fairly basic pub grub is available (see Menu below), but if this is not to your taste then there are plenty of nearby places to eat.
An excellent Indian restaurant and a good Fish and Chip shop are within easy walking distance.
Please e-mail me for my recommendations.

In order to give the kitchen staff a chance to get food orders out fairly quickly, it would be very helpful to pre-order.
Please try to place your order by contacting the pub by Wed. 3rd November.

The Ship Inn is located on the north side of the central village square.
From the A259 Havant to Chichester road, turn South at the mini roundabout into the village, and the pub is a few hundred yards along on the left hand side.

There is a fair amount of local on-street parking available, and 2 large car parks can be found within 3 or 4 minutes walk at
South Street N 50 50.740 W 000 56.226
and
Palmers Road N 50 50.909 W 000 56.170 (behind Tesco).

About a dozen or so caches are located in the local area, with 7 of them to be found within 5 minutes walk of the pub.

As is now traditional there will be a raffle, and the large red ammo box will be available for swapping and discovering Geocoins and Travel Bugs.

If you have not been to an event cache before, would like to experience something different, and have the chance to meet other cachers and swap/discover trackables and your caching stories, then please come along.
All are welcome, even those "Furriners" from West Sussex and further afield.
We look forward to seeing you all.

Any questions? Just drop me an e-mail.
