Der Sass Pordoi (2.950 m s.l.m., deutsch Pordoispitze) ist ein plateauförmiger Felsgipfel im Massiv der Sella in den Dolomiten. Er ist mit einer Seilbahn vom Pordoijoch aus erreichbar, Aussichtspunkt mit Panoramaterrasse und Restaurant sowie Ausgangspunkt für anspruchsvolle Wanderwege und Klettersteige im Bereich der Sella.
Die 1962 erbaute Seilbahn, die 65 Personen in nur vier Minuten über fast 700 m Höhenunterschied vom Pordoisattel zum Felsplateau auf dem Gipfel befördert, war eine der ersten in den Dolomiten. Sie wurde in den Jahren 1994/95 modernisiert. Das Restaurant an der Bergstation heißt Rifugio Maria nach Maria Piaz (verstorben 1971), der Pionierin des Tourismus am Pordoipass und mit ihrem Sohn Francesco Initiatorin der Seilbahn.
Die Rundsicht reicht weit über die Dolomitengipfel und umliegenden Täler hinweg auf
* Rosengarten, Seiser Alm und Langkofel im Westen und Nordwesten; bei klarem Wetter sind die österreichisch-italienischen Grenzgipfel des Alpenhauptkamms von den Ötztaler Alpen bis zu den Zillertaler Alpen erkennbar.
* Das Fassatal und die Marmolada liegen im Süden,
* während sich im Osten und Norden die karge Felslandschaft des Sellastocks erstreckt, in der sich bis in den Frühsommer hinein noch große Schneeflächen ausbreiten. Der Piz Boè im Osten ist mit 3.152 m der höchste Gipfel des Sellastocks. Er verdeckt die Rundsicht auf die östlichen Dolomitengruppen (Le Tofane, Monte Cristallo, Sorapiss, Monte Pelmo und Civetta), die sich erst bei der Besteigung dieser Felsspitze (ca. 1,5 Stunden) zeigen.

The Sass Pordoi (2.950 m slm, German Pordoispitze) is a plateau-shaped rock in the summit of the Sella Massif in the Dolomites. He can be reached by cable car from Pordoijoch off spot for panoramic terrace, a restaurant and starting point for challenging hiking and climbing routes in the Sella.
The cable car was built in 1962, which carried 65 people in just four minutes to almost 700 m difference in altitude from Pordoisattel to plateau at the summit, was among the first in the Dolomites. It was modernized in 1994/95. The restaurant at the mountain station is Rifugio Maria by Maria Piaz (died 1971), the pioneer of tourism in Pordoipass and with her son Francesco initiator of the cable car.
The panorama extends far beyond the Dolomite peaks and valleys of time to
* Rose Garden, Seiser Alm and Langkofel in the west and north-west, on clear days, the Austria-Italian border peaks of the Alps of the Ötztal Alps and recognizable to the Zillertal Alps.
* Val di Fassa and the Marmolada is in the south,

Il Sass Pordoi (2,950 m slm, Pordoispitze tedesco) è un altopiano a forma di roccia al vertice del massiccio del Sella nelle Dolomiti. Si può raggiungere con la funivia dal Passo Pordoi spot off per la terrazza panoramica, un ristorante e punto di partenza per impegnative escursioni e vie di arrampicata in Sella.
La funivia è stata costruita nel 1962, che ha trasportato 65 persone in soli quattro minuti a quasi 700 m di dislivello da Pordoisattel ad un plateau al vertice, fu tra i primi nelle Dolomiti. È stata ristrutturata nel 1994/95. Il ristorante alla stazione a monte è il Rifugio Maria da Maria Piaz (morto nel 1971), pioniere del turismo a Passo Pordoi e con il suo iniziatore figlio Francesco della funivia.
Il panorama si estende ben oltre le cime delle Dolomiti e le valli di tempo per
* Rose Garden, Alpe di Siusi e Sassolungo a ovest e nord-ovest, nelle giornate limpide, le cime di confine austro-italiano delle Alpi, delle Alpi Venoste e riconoscibile per le Alpi della Zillertal.
* Val di Fassa e la Marmolada è a sud,
* Mentre a est ea nord, il paesaggio brullo roccioso si estende il massiccio del Sella, in cui due di estendere in estate della neve ancora grande. Il Piz Boè a est, con 3.152 m la vetta più alta del massiccio del Sella. Ha coperto la vista panoramica dei gruppi orientale delle Dolomiti (Le Tofane, Monte Cristallo, il Sorapiss, il Pelmo e Civetta), mostrando solo nella parte superiore di questa salita rock (1,5 ore).
