Good Turn for AmericaThe Middle Tennessee Council is coordinating multiple Cache In Trash Out Events on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 9 a.m. until noon. This will be a coordinated mid-state wide clean up project throughout local city, state and national parks and you do not have to be a geocacher to participate - all Scouts, family members and Scout leaders are encouraged to Get in the Game! Together, we will make an enormous positive impact.

Did we mention that you also will have a bit of fun while we are at it?

Cache In Trash Out (CITO) is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers have been dedicated to cleaning up parks and other cache-friendly places around the world. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!

Good Turn for America

Good Turn for America is a nationwide effort to demonstrate the power of volunteerism. All Boy Scouts are encouraged to perform at least one “good turn,” or good deed, every day. The Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, and thousands of other community organizations have teamed up with the Boy Scouts of America to support the effort.
