Geocache Description:

The forty seventh in the Grumpy Dolphin series. Dolphin was really grumpy today!
Located in the Newark Watershed.
NWCDC Hiking Permit is required.

This is a mystery cache. The cache is not at the listed
coordinates.
The topo maps indicate that there is a benchmark (not listed on Geocaching) at the listed coordinates. But, I haven't found it.

We were out today, replacing the cache container/bear chew toy for
Los dos osos negros.
(Please remember that this is bear territory! Please rehide containers behind the rocks. This prevents them from becoming bear chew toys!)
When we turned the page in the sodden log book, we found a note from Patti Bear. (Dental records showed that it was Patti Bear who attacked that cache.)
She apologized for destroying the cache, and left us this puzzle to bring us to one of her favorite places.


Patti Bear was right. It is an interesting spot. Personally, I think that mountan laurel is beautiful for about one month a year. I hate bushwhacking through mountain laurel. By the time you've found this cache, you'll probably agree with me.
