Geocache Description:


Jonan Jima is a man made island in Tokyo Bay. The island was started in 1939. The eastern shore of the island is a park named after the island. Jonan Jima Park is a surprising place. You wouldn't expect to find a beach within the city limits of Tokyo. There is no swimming, fishing or boating at this beach but camping is available and it is a great place to watch the planes take off from Haneda International Airport and cargo ships sail into the bay and a great place for a barbecue.

The nearest station is Ryutsu Center on the Monorail but it is quite a long walk to the park. The park also has bus service. There is no pen in the cache. BYOP.

城南島が東京湾に浮かぶ人工島です。島の工事は1939年に開始された。島の東部の海岸には公園が島にちなんで名づけられました。城南島公園は意外な場所です。東京の街のビーチを見つけることを期待しません。水泳や釣りできないけど飛行機がが羽田国際空港から離陸と東京湾に貨物船が出入りを見る、ベイやバーベキューやピックニックを楽しむに最適な場所です。

最寄りの駅は東京モノレールの流通センター駅ですが、それはかなり公園から離れている。または公園にバスのサービスもうあります。キャッシュにペンが入っていません。BYＯP。
