This cache location has some of the best views of Bright, Mt Buffalo and the Bogong High Country.
This is the second of our caches overlooking Bright, our favourite town in North East Victoria, and a wonderful place to visit for all seasons. There are no special challenges to this cache - so few people now come up to Clear Spot to enjoy the views, so we placed this cache here to encourage a few more people to visit. The view here of Bright and the surrounding mountains is so good that you may want to pack a picnic and enjoy the views from the picnic table located up here. A late afternoon dinner to enjoy the sunset perhaps? To access this cache, you can get here by car, bike, motorbike, horse and foot. The road up is suitable for 2WD except perhaps during winter. Logging trucks may be on the road throughout the year, so please beware. Likewise, please give way to horses riding through the area - slow down, give them room and don't rev your engines / sound horns. When returning the cache to its hide don’t push too far in - the top should be even with the surrounding material.
