Der Cache liegt an einem kleinen Waldweg, und bei winterlichen Bedingungen an einer Langlauf-Loipe. Spaziergang vom Parkplatz dauert hin und retour rund 1 Stunde. ***
English: The cache is situated near a small wood path and during winter time near a cross country trail. A short walk from the parking lot to the cache and back will take approximately 1 hour.

Rund um die barocke Wallfahrtskirche Hafnerberg gibt es einiges zu entdecken: das Hubertuskreuz und mystische Plätze wie beispielsweise den Vierbrüderbaum.
Eine besondere Baumanomalie aus vier verschieden Holzarten. Am Terrain des Weges schlingt sich bereits eine Wurzel im Uhrzeigersinn um diese eigenartige Baumgruppe. Auf der Rückseite erkennt man den Ast einer Schwarzföhre, der sich "gegen den Uhrzeigersinn" um diese Baugruppe schlingend in die Höhe dreht.

Der Ort Hafnerberg ist und war eine beliebte Station an der alten Pilgerstraße Via Sacra von Wien nach Mariazell. Zahlreiche Kapellen und Kreuze, wie auch das Hubertuskreuz, säumen die Wanderwege.
Hubertus gilt als Schutzpatron der Jagd.

Background information:
Around the baroque pilgrimage church Hafnerberg there are many things to discover: a wooden cross dedicated to Hubertus ("Hubertuskreuz") and some mystical places e.g. the Four Brothers Tree.
A particular anomaly of four different tree species. Near the trail a root wraps clockwise around this interesting group of trees. On the back you can see the branch of a black pine, which rotates "counterclockwise" around this assembly looping into the air.

The place Hafnerberg is and was a popular station on the old pilgrim road "Via Sacra" from Vienna to Mariazell. Many chapels and crosses, as the Hubertus Cross, could be found nearby.
Hubertus is considered to be the patron saint of hunting.
