A quick Cache & Dash with great views. For a pleasant walk this cache may be combined with our Cove GC25ZK1 & Weston Promenade Stroll GC1WBA4 caches. Unfortunately because of steps, this cache is inaccessible by wheelchair but I hope to eventually find a wheelchair friendly position in these gardens.
Placed in lovely gardens, well known to locals, but often not found by visitors. It is a really tranquil area & to keep children, & dads, occupied there is even a small boating lake. From here you will get great views of Birnbeck Pier, Flat Holm & Steep Holm & on a clear day, the Welsh coast. A good time to visit is at sunset when the sky can be stunning.
Free on-street parking in the area (but difficult to find a space in the summer!). If you can find a space in Birkett Rd or Upper Kewstoke Road You will have good views & easy access to the gardens. There is a Pay & Display car park in South Road at N51º 21.308 W002º 59.537.
