Walk to a farther part of Smith Rock State Park.
A fee of $5 is required to park your car, but there are several caches to find in the park. You will take a short walk, less than a mile, after crossing the footbridge, to a farther corner of the park. The scenery is spectacular and wildlife is commonly seen along the way. You can walk to within a few feet of this one on the main trail. Bring a writing tool to sign the log.
