Unlike Clarksburg State Park there are no restrooms at Clarksburg State Forest.
No ranger station, no paved parking lot, not much at all.
DCR doesn’t have a trail map on there website, in fact, the website doesn’t give any information at all.
There aren’t even any roads to Clarksburg State Forest. It may be the most undeveloped, inaccessible piece of land in Massachusetts.
It’s entire northern border is an equally undeveloped section of the Green Mountain National Forest.
As far as I know the only legal points of access within Mass are the Appalachian Trail and the Long Trail.
