Geocache Description:

This TeamCThree Kid-Friendly Series is of the type that our kids (ages 6 - 10) enjoy finding - no micros, 2-star or less difficulty and terrain with relatively short hikes. Small and Regular containers with plenty of decent trinkets and room for TB's.

Our second cache hide - a family-friendly easy grab with nearby parking. This is a .30 cal ammo can with enough room to serve as a TB Hotel - let's get those bugs passing through here!

It's a short walk (~ 0.2 miles each way from the parking co-ordinates, though there are closer spots for those familiar with the area) along cleared trails, and the cache is less than 40 feet off a trail with no bushwhacking required. It's a little steeper at GZ so be careful - hence the 2 star terrain rating. Not snow friendly. Please re-hide and re-cover exactly as you found it to maintain the camouflage.

Starting it off with plenty of kid-friendly swag. FTF prize is a Geocaching magnet (~ 3.5" x 2").

This park is a historic landmark in the center of Unionville. It contains the remnants of an “electrical amusement park” that flourished from 1895 to 1905. Purchased by the Town of Farmington in 2001, it provides 20.5 acres of open space with two miles of hilly walking trails. The park contains five circular “kettles” formed during the glacial age.

Go find GC1T2CC nearby too - it's a short hike (little steeper climb).
