Mouse House Traditional Cache
yankeepride: Based on the run of DNF's for what was once a super easy cache, my assumption is that it probably is lost. Thanks to everyone who took part in the hunt for it over the many years it was around!

A small tupperware container in Bray's Hill Preserve.
As I was walking in the area, looking for a place to hide a cache, I was wondering how people come up with names for theirs. As I'm contemplating this, I spied a good spot that would still be cachable in a foot and a half of snow (which is what we had to go through the last time we made a find here).
I started cleaning it out, when the "junk" that I was scraping with a stick changed from wood and leaves to what looked like nesting material. Before it really sunk in, I saw some movement, and a field mouse literally leapt from the spot directly at my chest. Luckily, it didn't have the power to get all the way to me, and it fell to the ground and scurried off. Hmmm, now I know how people name their caches!
