Ericles: Time for someone else to fight the muggles. This cache hasn't been the same since a previous finder stole the damn logbook because it was special to them. Asshats! It was special to me too. My daughters first log was in that log book written in her own hand. This was a great family friendly hide but unfortunately "the app" is now free so it is being used as a method to steal ammo cans. Well, they wont steal any more of mine.

Geocache Description:

A short walk from parking to Beauties Bridge and a regular sized cache ready for your artistic additions

The Location: A small bridge crossing a small stream that used to hold back a small pond. Now, the dam is gone and the stream flows freely under the bridge. This is a good spot for a picnic and for nature watching as the drained pond attracts many types of birds and beasts. If the stream below looks stagnant, it is because the water bubbles out of a chalybeate spring and is extremely rich in iron.

The Hide: Located just a few hundred feet from the Holland Road activity center, this cache is literally a walk in the park. You are looking for a regular sized ammo can hidden under the bridge but accessible from above. There is some Poison Ivy nearby but you do not need to get near it to make the find. Inside you'll find crayons to go with the log book. Feel free to have a seat at the nearby picnic table & doodle something fun when you sign the log! Tatum Park is open dawn to dusk year round.
