A traditional ammo box in a small wooded area on the edge of a field in the village of Abbotts Ann.
This cache is located in a small stretch of woodland along a public right of way on the edge of a field in Abbotts Ann.
The cache itself is an ammo can.
The cache can be reached by a short and easy going 0.3 mile walk which takes you past some old abandoned pig farms and along a stretch of footpath past some fields - usually with horses in. There is on-road parking at the bottom of Abbotts Hill at N 51 11.467 W 001 31.291.
Alternatively, if you are in a hurry or want a quick 'cache n dash' you could park near the bottom of the church footpath in Abbotts Ann at N 51 11.439 W 001 31.619 for an even shorter walk in - via the footpath to the left of the entrace to Manor Close.
The public route across the field is obvious - but is also signposted at both ends as well.
